Signing - Memorandum of Understanding between the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce

The Scottish Chambers of Commerce (SCC) and the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce (GNYCC) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing economic cooperation between Scotland and the United States. This agreement sets forth a collaborative framework to promote trade, investment, and business development across both regions.

The MOU outlines a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral economic ties through initiatives such as trade missions, business delegations, and joint events. Key objectives include supporting market entry and expansion for businesses, sharing research and market intelligence, and facilitating meaningful business-to-business and business-to-government interactions.

Through this partnership, SCC and GNYCC aim to create lasting connections that foster innovation, economic growth, and increased commercial opportunities for companies operating on both sides of the Atlantic.

The signing was followed by a networking reception hosted by Edrington; a company dedicated to crafting spirit brands of the highest quality; including Macallan. Scoth Whisky.
